Release Notes

Here is yet another iteration toward what will eventually become Image Resizer 3. This release is stable. However, I'm calling it a preview since there are still many features I'd still like to add before calling it complete.

Updated on February 28 to fix an issue with installing on multi-user machines.
Updated on April 3 to address accusations of me soliciting a virus. (Rebuilt on a clean machine against the latest version of WiX.)

As usual, here is my progress report.

Reviews for this release

May 14, 2012- No virus/threats detected from software when I installed. Only said that they didn't recognize the publisher of the software. Great tool and easy to use. I like it when I'm in a hurry and don't want to use my PhotoShop/PSP resizer tool. Thanx for the freebie.

I've been using this utility for several years now, and it's a little gem. Thank you so much for it! Nice work!

It's not a virus you hypochondriacs. Anti-virus programs sometimes find false positives, especially with tweaks that change system files. This app is a necessity, I use it all the time. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the updates. Works with Windows 8 beta.

Excellent app... thanks for keeping this tool alive! One thing I'd like to see is a simple compression/quality option - Low, Medium, High would suffice.. high needs to be much better than it is now.

Love this little app! I've used it since way back when it was part of the WinXP PowerToys, oh so long ago. This new version is great! Would like to be able to resize an entire Folder rather than just what's inside. But hey! I'm sure that'll come soon. Thanks for all your work on this resizer. It IS the ONLY one I use and when I switched from XP to Win 7 I was so lost, till now. THANKS!

This program solved a lot of questions on how to post a 4mb photo to my forum. I now have a peminant link to this page on the forum. I hope (Save resized image to new folder) will be in the Advanced Settings. Keep up the good work.

Awesome tool! However, other products similar to this also allow you to right click on the Folder that the images are in, so that you can easily resize all the picture in that folder. Can you incorporate this feature as well? Thx again for a great tool!
