Version 2.1 of the Image Resizer is a minor update (major to some, I'm sure) that fixs some of the tool's most annoying "features". Changes

Could only be better if there was an option to reduce to a relative file size (instead of picture size). And a batch extension change like all png files to jpg.
However; this product works! its small, non-intrusive, and strait forward easy to use.

One suggestion:
Offering a quick resizement in context menu might be a good choice.
such as 800x600 1024x768 ...

An excellent Powertoy, much missed from my XP days.
I also would love if there was a progress bar, when resizing many photos (particularly if they're on an external disc) the Explorer window simply freezes ("Not responding") for several minutes as the resizing is done.

Excellent upgrade to an already great tool. The original had custom size feature, however, getting to perform fixed width or fixed height conversion is inconsistent. However, with this Clone, I can finally get consistent performance. No more working around bugs.

A THOUSAND GOLD STARS! Thank you for creating an image resizer for Win7 and Vista! I absolutely loved the XP Power Toy Image Resizer and have been completely lost without it, since I moved to Windows 7. It's so much easier and quicker to use than trying to resize through my image editing software products! Remembering my previous settings? So very KEWL!

Brilliant execution of something so simple, but badly needed. Custom field is an absolute necessity, so thanks for that!

I have searched the web for a month trying to find this tool for 64 bit Windows 7. I think it works better than the XP powertoy because it remembers my preferences (the XP version had to be set each time). The only thing I would add would be a status bar while in progress. Other than that, GREAT JOB!

Quick and easy to use. Downloaded and worked in about a minute.
I have been using free version of VSO but for basic reduction this is quicker and easier.
