Have you tried uninstalling any/all versions, downloading the latest and re-installing?

I have the same problem in Windows 7 Professional.
Can someone help please?

I used Powertoys in Windows XP but thought it was not compatible with Windows7. Am I wrong about this?

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Didn't know there was a version 3 until today. I have been using Version 2 and really love it so am looking forward to the newer design and a more possibilities with Vs 3. In Vs2 i resized 700 images that I shot in Africa and it took no more than 5 to 6 minutes at most. Now I wish I had actually timed it so I could share an exact time with everyone. I'm totally amazed at the quality.

Hi,

I know how Powertoys worked in Windows xp and 7 but I can't make it work in Windows 8.

I have installed it but there is no RESIZE option in context menu when clicking on a picture file.

Any idea ?

Hello,

Image Resizer (v. 3.0.4802.35565) has a problem with updating the prev. version under system context at Windows 7 & 8 64 Bit. The screenshot attached hangs more then 2 minutes and then appears the "Setup Seccessful" window. At "Pargrams and Features" both versions old and new are visible. Other installations under 32 bit works fine.

Here is yet another iteration toward what will eventually become Image Resizer 3. This release is stable. However, I'm calling it a preview since there are still many features I'd still like to add before calling it complete.

Updated on February 28, 2012 to fix an issue with installing on multi-user machines.
Updated on April 3, 2012 to address accusations of me soliciting a virus. (Rebuilt on a clean machine against the latest version of WiX.)
Updated on February 23, 2013 to fix Crash in context menu handler and release the French and German translations.

As usual, here is my progress report.

  - Multi-frame support (animated GIFs, multi-page TIFFs, etc.)

Tried to download "Image Resizer" ... it downloads but when I execute my AntiVirus stops it with warning that is contains "PDM:Trojan W32.Generic"
